Our Story

When two engineers from Louisiana witnessed the Falcon Heavy launch, they became inspired to send their own package to (near) space, bringing along the New Orleans Saints.

After 72 hours of planning, building, and receiving approval for the flight plan from the FAA, they launched from Lettsworth, LA at Prayer Lake. Documented with a GoPro, the package reached the target altitude of 100,000+ feet.

After three weeks of recovery efforts using slingshots, engineered bamboo poles, bow & arrows, and carbon fiber instruments, it was recovered.

What had begun as a small video quickly evolved into a higher mission: to transform Louisiana into an epicenter of Space Exploration and inspire a new generation of aerospace innovators.

Since the initial video they have begun working on a project that will help bring this to fruition.
